Peter’s Farm has introduced these components in partnership with the Belgian food products manufacturer Country Chef. The range will initially comprise three products: Veal Ossobuco Milanese, Veal Steaks Marengo and Blanquette de Veau. Country Chef has for some time been producing meal components for the cream of the culinary crop. This top quality is now also directly available to consumers. The meal components furthermore meet the criteria for certification by the Ik Kies Bewust (‘Conscious Choice’) foundation, and are equipped with the ‘Choices’ logo.

A meal component is a ready-made product that enables consumers to prepare part of the meal in a very easy manner. The meal component is cooked in a special packet that has a positive effect on the shelf life, nutritional value and taste of the meal. The consumer simply needs to add pasta, rice or mashed potato and vegetables, for example, to have a delicious meal ready in a jiffy. The meal components come in two-person portions and are gluten free.
